Senior Test Engineer - Perm - ?45-?55k - London (West)

Our client is a global organisation who is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join one of their teams in a new position. This Senior Test Engineer will have extensive recent experience with Linux / UNIX applying solid Perl / Shell scripting experience. The Senior Test Engineer will have extensive experience of manual testing and will have the ability to analysis data and compare use MS Excel producing graphs for reporting. Our client has a high data environment so it would be key for this role to have experience within large data projects with demanding software releases.

Job responsibilities:
- Documentation of Test procedures
- System test for release of software.
- Ensure software is correctly fixing any identified bugs.
- Data analysis of client data
-Document findings and discuss at meetings with developers.
- Communication face-to-face and on telephone with internal departments regarding software releases.

Job requirements:
- Manual testing experience
- Solid Linux / UNIX experience
- Perl / Shell scripting experience
- Full Software Testing Lifecycle (FSTLC / FSLC) experience
- Highly numerical
- Excellent communication
