Variety Arts Theater in Los Angeles to Host "The Dream in Captivity"

Captivating Music and Art Showcase to Take Place December 7

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) November 21, 2012

On December 7, the historic Variety Arts Theater will play host to a gathering of local talent at 'The Dream In Captivity', a new concert experience merging sight and sound.

The multimedia production will fuse the musical arrangements of Cliff Dweller with the paintings of artist Oliver Bernsen. A string quartet and live band will perform a collection of post-classical songs reminiscent of a film score, entirely written and arranged by Cliff Dweller. Meanwhile, Bernsen's large-scale oil paintings will line the theater's periphery, enclosing the audience within an imminent world of moments never intent on being captured.

The cinematic compositions are coincidentally appropriate for the Variety Arts Theater ? a venue most recently utilized in October by Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blum. The space lends its own rich character to the world of forgotten romanticism.

Produced by Ella Hatamian, The Dream In Captivity is an unparalleled fusion of theatrics. More information and tickets can be found on the official website: http://www.thedreamincaptivity.com
